Overview
These radios require a licence from Ofcom before they can be used this is simple to obtain with the help of Roadphone Ltd. They operate on the specific frequencies allocated by Ofcom, have a transmit power of 4 – 5 watts maximum, can be used throughout the UK or on a specified site only dependent on the type of licence obtained. Licences are now simple to obtain and can cost as little as £75 for up to 5 years.
